Welcome to Rockland County Parks. During the past 45 years, the Rockland County Park System has grown from a single three-acre park to a network of 23 parks comprising 2,579 acres.

Our parks, now conservatively worth over $250,000,000, are situated both on the Hudson River and on or near mountainous ridges that preserve our shorelines and skylines as forever green and uncluttered by high-rises. They not only have historic value, preserving old Indian trails and lore, but are also needs-responsive, providing a variety of recreational opportunities for county residents. In addition to providing a place to observe diverse animal life, the parks also offer many scenic views. Yes, Rockland County is beautiful. Our parks are for all of us, and for generations to come.
