Professional Development
The Professional Development workgroup of the Rockland County School Health and Wellness Coalition meets regularly to plan and implement spring and fall educational events for educators and parents. The events focus on increasing knowledge and skills in implementing school-based physical activity, nutrition and coordinated school health programs.
6th Annual School Health Symposium on Connecting Health with Learning will take place in conjunction with the Rockland Environmental Education Symposium and the Clarkstown Farm to You Fest on June 2, 2012 from 10 AM - 2 PM at the Rockland BOCES campus at 65 Parrott Road, West Nyack, NY 10994.
